HORSESHOE COLLECTION

Legend has it that having learned of Saint Dunstan's blacksmith skills, the devil asked him to shoe his goat hooves. The Saint, with a cunningly clumsy expression on his face, nailed the iron to the devil's hooves to cause him an infernal pain, which was so strong that the devil pleaded with Saint Dunstan to free him. The Saint agreed as long as the devil promised to protect the houses in which a horseshoe was hung on the wall. Hence the origin of the horseshoe as an amulet of luck and good fortune. A symbol of protection to which we have dedicated an entire collection. Saint Dunstan is also remembered for being the protector of jewelers.
